Our Teens Summer Club is full of fun, educational activities for 12-17 year olds. Taking place at Oxford House in the centre of Barcelona, your teens will spend their time in a happy and relaxed environment, practicing English, making friends, and learning about the world around them.
The programme, which is 100% in English, combines engaging topics from a variety of subjects, including history, technology, sport, art, science and music.
Students will also take part in hands on activities led by experts in these subjects and trips around Barcelona. It’s the perfect way to get them excited about learning English again!
Running from the 25th June until 26th July, your teens can join the programme from one to five weeks. Registration is flexible to suit your own busy schedules.
Whether your teen is an adrenaline junkie, crazy about music or theatre, or wants to be the next Mark Zuckerberg, with five different themes, there is something for everyone.
Every Wednesday the lessons will come alive during our weekly trip and on Fridays you’ll have the chance to see your child communicating in English at the Presentation Party.
In week one, we’ll find out all about some of our favourite stars! We’ll take a closer look at what it means to be famous, and what it takes to make it big! We’ll explore the world of cinema, music and dance and get our creative juices flowing.
On Wednesday, we’ll head to El Timbal for a very special workshop in musical theatre from two pros in performing arts.
It’s time to fire up the grill in week 2, as we learn more about the world of food. We’ll look at some famous dishes from around the world, how our diets are changing, and find out if we really are what we eat!
On our weekly trip we will take part in a cookery class with an expert from Cooking English – and we’ll learn how to master two summery British classics – and let’s not forget the eating part!
We can’t wait to take it to the max in week five! We will find out who the adrenaline junkies are, as we explore some of the world’s most extreme sports.
The teens will be put through their paces during a fun excursion mid-week to Indoor Jumping Club, a trampolining centre where we can bounce around and work on our gymnastic skills.
This week, we’ll explore the big advances in science and technology that are affecting their lives today, as well as putting our heads together to imagine what the future will look like.
We’ll also get some hands-on experience of shaping our own virtual world with a trip to Rockbotic, where the pros will give us all the tools we need to start shaping the future ourselves.
Although it’ll be sad to see everyone leave, we cannot wait for the final week of the course. We will explore some of the world’s most famous street artists, as well as the art of looking sharp and dressing to kill.
As a very special final excursion, we’ll head to Poble Nou for a personalised workshop on graffiti technique from the experts at Dase, after which we’ll put into action our new talents by decorating our very own wall.

Trained in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) our specialised teens teachers have what it takes to teach relevant and interesting subjects while supporting learners with their English at the same time.
The reason we love CLIL is that it helps boost students’ confidence when communicating in a second language.
It helps develop students who are ready for the demands of today’s digital and globalised world, where English is king. No matter whether it’s for travel, business, study or pleasure, English remains the world’s most widely spoken second language.
Also, by teaching engaging topics in a fun way, teens are more motivated to learn than they are in traditional grammar based English classes.
There is also a strong focus on the skills which your teens will need in their future lives such as communication, collaboration and critical thinking. They will be encouraged to work together on group projects, while also exploring their creativity.
What’s more, all of our classrooms are equipped with computers, projectors and TVs, allowing the teachers to use authentic videos and bring other interactive media into the classes, which will help motivate them further.
We also believe in cultural diversity and exposing young adults to different beliefs, traditions and views. This is easy as we have teachers and students from all of the world, forcing students to use English as the primary means of communication.
We offer a flexible registration to suit all needs, with classes in the mornings, 09:00 – 13:30. You’ll be able to say hi to the teacher as you drop your child off from 8.30am
The programme also includes a healthy breakfast in our lovely garden.
