We\u2019ve compiled a number of websites for you, with helpful resources related to the B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams. You\u2019ll find online tasks that give you instant feedback, short activities to do on your lunch break, as well as websites that feature tips and tricks to help you pass your chosen Cambridge English exam.<\/p>\n

1. Cambridge Assessment English<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

It would be absurd<\/strong><\/em><\/span> to talk about Cambridge English exam practise and not talk about the holy grail<\/strong><\/em><\/span> itself – Cambridge Assessment English. Their website is full of great resources for learning English online, including two B2 First practice papers<\/a> and C1 Advanced practice papers<\/a>. There\u2019s also one for C2 Proficiency<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These papers are free to download, and are about as close as you can get to the real exam.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for something a bit lighter, Cambridge English has 176 free and fun activities<\/a> on their website to test your skills, not to mention a range of self-study lessons<\/a> specific to the exams to try at home.<\/p>\n

Want to practise your writing? Try their Write & Improve<\/a> tool, which gives you instant feedback in seconds. If speaking is your weakness, check out these Speaking test videos<\/a> on YouTube, as well. And if all that\u2019s not enough, their colleagues<\/strong><\/em><\/span> over at Cambridge University Press have made their Exam Booster books and audio<\/a> free to download for the time being.<\/p>\n

2. Flo-Joe<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Flo-Joe<\/a> describes itself as the<\/em> place on the internet for Cambridge English exam preparation. They have practice tests for all levels, including the B2 First<\/a>, C1 Advanced<\/a> and C2 Proficiency<\/a>. These tests are mainly focused on the dreaded<\/strong><\/em><\/span> Reading and Use of English paper and come in the form of computer-based tasks, which instantly give you the correct answer. There are also video lessons<\/a> for each part of the exam to help with your technique.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve finished those, try the spotlight papers<\/a>. These are tasks geared towards<\/strong><\/em><\/span> more specific grammar and vocabulary. They are very useful for practising language that is likely to appear in the exam, as well as identifying what you need to review.<\/p>\n

English Revealed<\/a> has some solid interactive activities to help you with your Cambridge English exam prep. What\u2019s the best thing about it? In addition to correcting your work, they also give you a mini explanation to help you learn.<\/p>\n

You can try five online practise tasks for the first four parts of the Reading & Use of English for B2 First<\/a> and C1 Advanced<\/a> and C2 Proficiency<\/a>. There are also some invaluable<\/strong><\/em><\/span> online exercises for grammar. However, the writing tasks are our favourite part. These feature a fun drag and drop<\/strong><\/em><\/span> function to help you learn the form and structure of a great piece of writing.<\/p>\n

4. Exam English<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Does exam preparation sometimes feel like a chore<\/strong><\/em><\/span>? Exam English<\/a> offers a unique writing tool. It\u2019s a bit like a game, whereby you gain points for predicting every single word in a gapped text.<\/p>\n

They also offer a good overview of the Cambridge English exams<\/a>. Alongside this are some useful Reading & Use of English tasks. If you\u2019re looking for listening practise, Exam English has a sample of each part. It\u2019s useful for getting an idea of the style of task, so head to their website and choose your level.<\/p>\n
