A conversation between two people in an everyday social context (e.g. a job enquiry).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px;\">2. A <em><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>monologue<\/strong><\/span><\/em> set in an everyday social context (e.g. a radio advertisement).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px;\">3. A conversation between up to four people in an educational context (e.g. a tutor giving a student some feedback on their coursework).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px;\">4. A monologue on an academic subject (e.g. a university lecture about a specific topic).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 20px;\"><span style=\"color: #2d346f;\"><strong>How many questions are in the IELTS listening section?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 15px;\">In total, there are <strong>40 questions<\/strong>. There are 10 questions in each of the four parts of the exam.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #4d524d;\"><strong>1. Usually the answers are in a list for you to choose from, like in the example below.
