Even better, you’ll hear English from the moment you walk into the classroom, to the moment you leave. Everything you do will be 100% in English, giving you a complete immersive experience – and this will help you learn much more, a lot faster.

Classes are offered in very small groups of up to 12 students maximum in our school located in the center of Barcelona.

Flexible Hours For Your Busy Schedule

English Starter is a semi-intensive, flexible course which you can start every term. Classes are 1.5 hours a day and run from Monday – Thursday in the morning or evening.

Content

At the start of the course you’ll learn all the important grammar and language needed to be able to ask and respond to basic questions and talk about yourself. You will also cover vocabulary including numbers, days, countries and nationalities, colours, food and drink and people and family.

Next you will learn how to talk about your daily routine, interests, abilities, likes and dislikes and much more. And of course, you will review all of the important language you’ve learnt.

Lastly, you will start to look at the past! You will also learn how to describe where things are and how to refer to things in the future.

Oxford House is located 1 minute from Passeig de Gràcia, in the heart of Barcelona, and offers spacious, modern facilities easily reachable by a range of transport options. Oh! And what’s more, you’ll be able to enjoy our beautiful garden for a moment of relaxation.

Online Platform: MS Teams

Microsoft Teams platform serves as an additional tool to enhance students’ learning and motivation. Each class has its own group, which students join in order to participate. After each session, the teacher writes a summary of what was done in class and provides extra material and activities. Teachers and students can also get in touch and interact with one another.
