If this is not possible, refunds will not be allowed for change requests that cannot be fulfilled for the aforementioned reasons.

Subsequent payments: ONLY direct debit. Students completing more than one month of private classes are asked to provide their bank account details at least one week before the start of the second month. Payments are deducted monthly from the account according to the number of monthly hours contracted when registering.

During the Christmas and Easter periods when the school is closed, staff will contact private students to adjust the number of hours that will be completed and billed during those months.

CLASS CANCELLATION

1. Students may cancel a class with at least 24 hours notice in order to make up the class during the same month. To cancel, students must send an email to their teacher and a copy to info@oxfordhousebcn.com, indicating available times to recuperate this class. 2. Classes that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice cannot be made up. 3. Make-up classes that are cancelled cannot be rescheduled and made up.

PRIVATE CLASSES OFF-SITE 1. Off-site classes should be an 1.5 hours minimum. 2. All classes within 20 minutes from the school will be charged at the same hourly rate.

CHANGES OR DISCONTINUING CLASSES

f you do not wish to continue with your classes or you wish to change the number of hours/month, you must provide Oxford House with written notice by email at info@oxfordhousebcn.com before the 20th day of the month.

Students can pay for a single term or for all 3 terms. If you choose to pay term-by-term, the first payment should be made in cash, by cheque, credit card or bank transfer, and all subsequent payments must be made either by direct debit or by credit card through our online secure server, only.

– ONLINE PAYMENT: Second payment should be made BEFORE December 19th 2016 and third payment BEFORE March 18th 2017. Otherwise, the student will lose the right to the place.

– DIRECT DEBIT: For the second payment your account will be debited between 1st and 5th January 2017 and the third payment between 1st and 5th April 2017.

– WITHDRAWALS: If the student decides not to continue with an extensive course, an email needs to be sent to info@oxfordhousebcn.com indicating the reason BEFORE the end of the current term, without exception.

Students pay the full course fee when enrolling in the course by cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer.

Students pay full course fees when enrolling in the course by cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer. General English Intensive and 64 hour Cambridge intensive can also be paid in 2 monthly installments.

  • Private classes

First payment: Students can pay in cash or by card in the school or online.

Subsequent payments: ONLY direct debit. Students completing more than one month of private classes are asked to provide their bank account details at least one week before the start of the second month. Reimbursements

You can postpone the starting date once (Economic English and Starter English, may be deferred only to the following month; extensive courses, may be postponed to the following term) or transfer your place to someone else (not an Oxford House student), if you let us know that you cannot attend the course before the starting date.

Extensive Courses for adults & YLs; Intensive General, Cambridge and IELTS courses and Summer courses: If you make a payment and you cannot attend classes, the amount is not refundable under any circumstances. You can postpone the starting date once to the next term/course within the same school year (October-June) if you let us know before the starting date of the course you can not attend to.

Economic English and Starter English

The course can be paid in cash at the school or online by credit card. Places are limited. To secure your place in the course you are advised to make the payment at your earliest convenience. We reserve the right to change students to a different level if there’s a specific need.

Private classes

Cancellations:

  • Students must cancel a class with more than 24 hours of notice in order to make up the class during the same month. To cancel, students must send an email to their teacher and a copy to info@oxfordhousebcn.com, indicating available times to make up the class.
  • Classes that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice can not be made up.
  • Make-up classes that are cancelled cannot be rescheduled and made up.

Classes outside the school:

  • Off-site classes should be an 1,5h minimum.
  • All classes within 20 minutes from the school will be charged at the same hourly-rate.

Changes or discontinuing classes:

The Carnet Jove (youth card) is a service provided by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Cardholders receive a 10% discount on the following Oxford House language courses.
