Before applying for a student visa, we strongly recommend you review the requirements and conditions at your local Spanish consulate. Oxford House can only certify enrolment in a course once the course fees have been paid in full and if the student sends us a copy of their Passport.

CLASSES
In the event that the school cannot offer these classes in person due to force majeure, they will be held online at the same time as your class. No refunds or postponement of the course are allowed.
CLASS CANCELLATION
1. Students may cancel a class with at least 24 hours notice in order to make up the class during the same month. To cancel, students must send an email to their teacher and a copy to info@oxfordhousebcn.com, indicating available times to recuperate this class.
2. Classes that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice cannot be made up.
3. Make-up classes that are cancelled cannot be rescheduled and made up.
4. In the case of group classes, if one of the students cannot attend, there will be no possibility of making the class up or having a refund. In the case of wanting to cancel a class, all students must agree to the cancellation and recovery of the class which has to be organized according to the general cancellation conditions.
PRIVATE CLASSES OFF-SITE
1. Off-site classes should be an 1.5 hours minimum.
2. All classes within 20 minutes from the school will be charged at the same hourly rate.
CHANGES OR DISCONTINUING CLASSES
f you do not wish to continue with your classes or you wish to change the number of hours/month, you must provide Oxford House with written notice by email at info@oxfordhousebcn.com before the 20th day of the month.
CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE
Oxford House has a civil liability insurance policy that covers possible accidents within its centre.
PAYMENT METHODS
Students can pay in one payment before the start of the course or in weekly payments before the start of each week. Payments can be made by cash, by card, by cheque (made out to Oxford TEFL SL) or by bank transfer.
If a student chooses to make a bank transfer, all bank charges are paid by the student.

PLACE RESERVATION
After taking the level test, a place on the course can be reserved by paying a deposit of 25% of the total price of the course. The balance should be paid before the course starts by bank transfer to our Santander account 0030-2012-78-0297750273 (indicating the name of the student) or by card via our online secure server. Otherwise, the student WILL LOSE ITS PLACE IN THE COURSE AND THE DEPOSIT.
REIMBURSEMENTS
When the student makes a payment and cannot attend classes, THE AMOUNT IS NON REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. In the event of the denial of a student visa, the student will need to send official proof of this denial issued by the Spanish Consulate (or Embassy). In this case, Oxford House will reimburse the student’s payment minus a 150€ administrative fee. If this document is not received, not reimbursement can be made in the event of a cancellation.
CALENDAR
Classes that fall on public holidays are not recuperated.
Holidays 2022: 1 and 6 January, 15 and 18 April, 6 and 24 June, 15 August, 24 and 26 September, 12 October, 1 November, 6, 8 and 26 December.
ATTENDANCE LETTER
An attendance letter can be issued to those students that attend at least 80% of the classes. Students can request this letter at reception, at the end of their course.
OFFERS AND PROMOS
Oxford House published offers, promos or discounts cannot be accumulated and they run for a fixed period of time. No changes will be made to course prices booked before a promotion.

STUDENT VISA
Before applying for a student visa, we strongly recommend you review the requirements and conditions at your local Spanish consulate. Oxford House can only certify enrolment in a course once the course fees have been paid in full and if the student sends us a copy of their Passport.
Oxford House is not liable in the case of visas not being granted or delays in the process.
