REIMBURSEMENTS

If the student let us know that they cannot attend the course a minimum of 72h before its starting date, the credit may be deferred to another course during the current school year or they may transfer their place to someone else. Credit can only be used for group classes. When the student defers the credit and resumes classes, there is no possibility of stopping them and deferring this credit once again.
CLASSES
In the event that the school cannot offer these classes in person due to force majeure, they will be held online at the same time as your class. No refunds or postponement of the course are allowed.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER GROUP
The minimum number of students per group in this course is 4. If the minimum number of students in a group is not reached, we reserve the right to close the group with the appropriate refund.

CHANGE OF TIMETABLE/GROUP
Requests for timetable or group change will only be possible with the approval of the Director of Studies and only when there are places available in the desired group. MAKE-UP CLASSES
These courses offer the possibility of making up classes sporadically as long as they are made up within the week of absence and reception is notified at least 24 hours in advance. The Carnet Jove (youth card) is a service provided by the Generalitat de Catalunya and at Oxford House we offer its holders the possibility of enjoying a discount on various courses.
-10% on a single payment or in one of the installments, if you choose to pay the course in 3 installments. This discount will be applicable at all times except 18:30h and 20:00h on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Tuesdays and Thursdays.

PAYMENT METHODS
Students pay the full course fee before the course starts by cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer.

RESERVATION OF PLACES
After taking the level test, a place on the course can be reserved by paying a 50€ deposit. This deposit will be deducted from the total of the course. The rest of the course amount should be paid by bank transfer to our account ES22 0030-2012-78-0297750273 (indicating the name of the student) or by card via our online secure server. Otherwise, the student WILL LOSE THE RIGHT TO THE PLACE AND THE DEPOSIT.
REIMBURSEMENTS
When the student makes a payment (or in 2 installments) and cannot attend classes, THE AMOUNT IS NON REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If the student let us know that they cannot attend the course a minimum of 72h before its starting date, the credit may be deferred to another course during the current school year or they may transfer their place to someone else. Credit can only be used for group classes. When the student defers the credit and resumes classes, there is no possibility of stopping them and deferring this credit once again.
CLASSES
In the event that the school cannot offer these classes in person due to force majeure, they will be held online at the same time as your class. No refunds or postponement of the course are allowed.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER GROUP
The minimum number of students per group in this course is 4. If the minimum number of students in a group is not reached, we reserve the right to close the group with the appropriate refund.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER GROUP
The maximum number of students per group in this course is 10. However, we reserve the right to increase this number, in one person, in case of special circumstances.
WITHDRAWALS
If the student decides not to continue with the course, an email needs to be sent to info@oxfordhousebcn.com and the withdrawal will be governed by the conditions indicated upon registration.
TEACHER
Oxford House reserves the right to change course teacher in the event of force majeure.
CARNET JOVE DISCOUNT
The Carnet Jove (youth card) is a service provided by the Generalitat de Catalunya and at Oxford House we offer its holders the possibility of enjoying a discount on various courses.
-10% on single payment.
To receive the discount, you must register in the academy, showing your Carnet Jove card in reception upon registering.

Students may have the following discounts. Discounts are not cumulative:
“Carné de Familia Monoparental o Numerosa”: 5% discount.
By another relative taking a General or Cambridge English or Young Learners course or if signed up to more than one course: 5% discount.
OFFERS AND PROMOS
Oxford House published offers, promos or discounts cannot be accumulated and they run for a fixed period of time. No changes will be made to course prices booked before a promotion.
On the other hand, discounts must be requested at the time of registration and in no case will it be applied later. Finally, if a student benefits from a discount on a course but requests to pass the credit of the same under the conditions described in the point “Reimbursements”, the student will lose the right to the discount and the necessary calculations will be made based on the normal price of the course.
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
Students will receive it by email, within two weeks after the end of their course if they have attended a minimum of 75% of the classes. Otherwise, the student can request a certificate of attendance at the reception.

Students can pay in one payment before the start of the course or in weekly payments before the start of each week. Payments can be made by cash, by card, by cheque (made out to Oxford TEFL SL) or by bank transfer.

PLACE RESERVATION

In the event of the denial of a student visa, the student will need to send official proof of this denial issued by the Spanish Consulate (or Embassy). In this case, Oxford House will reimburse the student’s payment minus a 150€ administrative fee. If this document is not received, not reimbursement can be made in the event of a cancellation.

CHANGE OF TIMETABLE/GROUP
Requests for timetable or group change will only be possible with the approval of the Director of Studies and only when there are places available in the desired group. If this is not possible, refunds will not be allowed for change requests that cannot be fulfilled for the aforementioned reasons.
TEACHER
Oxford House reserves the right to change course teacher in the event of force majeure.
CALENDAR
Classes that fall on public holidays are not recuperated.
Holidays 2025: 1 and 6 January, 18 and 21 April, 1 May, 9 and 24 June, 15 August, 11 and 24 September, 12 October, 1 November, 6, 8, 25 and 26 December.
EXAMS FEES
Exam fees are not included in the price of the course.
ATTENDANCE LETTER
An attendance letter can be issued to those students that attend at least 80% of the classes. Students can request this letter at reception, at the end of their course.
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
If the student attends 80% of the course and passes it successfully, they can request a certificate of achievement at reception at the end of the course.

STUDENT VISA
Before applying for a student visa, we strongly recommend you review the requirements and conditions at your local Spanish consulate. Oxford House can only certify enrolment in a course once the course fees have been paid in full and if the student sends us a copy of their Passport.
Oxford House is not liable in the case of visas not being granted or delays in the process.
